VWC Thanks You For Your Support!

Hello Friends of the Chorus!

First, thank you so much for your generous support of the chorus during our Annual Fund Drive! We had a very successful weekend, and are so appreciative of your contributions. Remember to either make your tax-deductible donation online at this secure link, or to send your check back to us in the mail with the pledge card that we mail to you! You should receive pledge cards and return envelopes in the next few days. In order for you to be recognized in our concert program, we must receive donations by November 15. Once again, thank you so much for your generosity! We could not continue to make beautiful music without supporters like you!

Also, with our Candlelight Concerts fast-approaching on November 30 and December 1, we are starting to sell ads in our concert program! Ad sales are a crucial means of fundraising for the chorus, and help us to pay our director, purchase sheet music, and rent concert venues, among many other expenses. Ads come at a great price, as well:

  • Full Page Ad (5” x 8”): $100

  • Half Page Ad (5” x 4”): $50

  • Quarter Page Ad (2 ½” x 4”): $25

If you would like to purchase an ad and help the chorus, you can email either your formatted design or just your message (which we can format) to our Concert Manager, Ally Lee, at vwcconcertmanager@gmail.com. We accept cash and check payments, or you can Venmo the Chorus at @VW-Chorus. Checks can be made payable to the Virginia Women’s Chorus and sent to:

We need to have all ad submissions and payments in by Thursday, November 15.

In addition, throughout the next few weeks, we will be selling beautiful poinsettia plants to decorate St. Paul’s Memorial Church for our Candlelight Concerts. After the concerts, you will be able to take your purchased poinsettia home with you! If you would like to support the chorus by purchasing a plant for $20, you can email vwcfundraising@gmail.com to order one, and you will be recognized in our concert program. Orders must be received by November 15!
