50th Anniversary of VWC!

The 50th Anniversary Celebration Weekend will take place on March 28-30, 2025. 

You all should have received a Save the Date email regarding our Anniversary Celebration, scheduled for the last weekend of March, 2025. The tentative itinerary will include:

Friday, March 28: Dinner and Rehearsal (activities starting approx 5:00 pm)

Saturday, March 29: Breakfast, Rehearsal, Concert, Happy Hour and Dinner (Events will run from approx 9:00am until 10:00pm, with concert at 3:30pm in Old Cabell Hall)

Sunday, March 30: Brunch (events will run from approx. 11:00am to 1:00 pm)

Please mark your calendar and look for additional information about pricing, the room block, and registration in emails and snail mail to come.  

If you would like to be part of the planning committee (responsibilities will include spreading the word, managing decorations, etc.), please contact Chris Butler (COLL '89) at cjwbutler@gwu.edu.

Annual Fund Drive

Dear Friends, Family and Alumnae,

The Annual Fund Drive, our yearly event dedicated to raising enough money to ensure that the Chorus will be able to thrive and prosper, is fast approaching. Because our program is an independently funded organization, we heavily rely on support from our generous donors!

In the past, you have enabled us to survive COVID-19, pay our director and accompanists, and host our traditional Candlelight, Women Against Violence, and Spring Concerts. Our ability to engage with the UVA arts community and our community at large depends on your tax deductible donation.
