The 50th Anniversary Celebration Weekend will take place on March 28-30, 2025.

Friday, March 28

7:00 - 10:00 pm Rehearsal and “Get-Reacquainted Fun” at University Baptist Church (UBC) 1223 West Main St, Charlottesville

10:00 pm End of Evening Events

Saturday, March 29

8:00 - 9:00 am Bodos Breakfast and Reception (UBC Fellowship Hall)

9:00 am - 12:00 pm Rehearsal (UBC)  

12:00 - 2:00 pm Unscheduled Time

2:00 pm Call Time at Old Cabell Hall (Rehearsal and Blocking)

3:30 - 5:15 pm Virginia Women’s Chorus 50th Anniversary Concert, Old Cabell Hall

6:00 - 7:30 pm Alumnae Cocktail Reception, at the Connaughton Art Gallery, McIntire School of Commerce (Lower East Lawn)

7:30 - 9:30 pm Buffet Dinner in Newcomb Hall Ballroom including Remembrance of Fifty Years of Virginia Women’s Chorus and a Celebration of Kae Renae Mitchell’s Contribution to the Organization and to the University.

9:30 pm End of Evening Events

Annual Fund Drive

Dear Friends, Family and Alumnae,

The Annual Fund Drive, our yearly event dedicated to raising enough money to ensure that the Chorus will be able to thrive and prosper, is fast approaching. Because our program is an independently funded organization, we heavily rely on support from our generous donors!

In the past, you have enabled us to survive COVID-19, pay our director and accompanists, and host our traditional Candlelight, Women Against Violence, and Spring Concerts. Our ability to engage with the UVA arts community and our community at large depends on your tax deductible donation.
