Letter from the Director: Kaerenae Mitchell

Hello everyone,

Remember how much fun it was to sing with your Vdubz/friends? We hope you’ll be able to come to our 45th Anniversary Weekend April 17-19 in beautiful C’ville! The world needs your lovely voice and music.

And...please join us for a fun rehearsal Saturday, 2/29, in Fairfax from 12:30-2:40 if you can! We’ll socialize after it. Register here for the fun rehearsal ASAP, and/or here for the entire weekend by March 25. We have lots of fun times in store for you, including a wine and cheese reception after Friday night’s rehearsal and a Sunday brunch at the Colonnade Club. Refresh your VWC knowledge for trivia fun at our cocktail hour on Saturday before the slideshow and dinner. We will bring extra folders of music so if you miss the signup, no worries. The chorus has been busy this semester singing the National Anthem at Girls and Women in Sports Day at JPJ before we had begun auditions. We were honored to sing at a memorial service after only two rehearsals. We’re having our rehearsal weekend in NOVA -- a special time for bonding and learning and laughter. We welcomed 9 new talented members, and we now have 3 graduate students in our community.
