Recognizing the power of music to unite and uplift, the Virginia Women’s Chorus is presenting the 7th annual Women Against Violence (WAV) concert Saturday, February 18 in Warner Hall 209 at 8 PM. Be a part of this annual event at UVA and support women against violence while enjoying the entertaining music! Proceeds from the concert will benefit the Shelter for Help and Emergency (SHE). If you would like to make an additional donation to SHE, please Venmo @VWChorus with the subject "SHE Donation". The concert, “Women Against Violence: Can You Feel the Love Tonight”, will feature a wide variety of music – folk, pop, classical, and more – shared by musicians near and far. Some of the finest a cappella groups at UVA and in the community will be participating. Hear groups such as: Virginia Belles, Hullabahoos, Hoos in Treble, Sil’hooettes, AVP, and No Fella A Cappella! Also joining us is the Virginia Glee Club. For more information and updates, please visit the VWC website (www.virginiawomenschorus.org). If you have any questions, please direct them to vwcconcertmanager@gmail.com. Please save your email confirmation for the purchase; it will be your ticket to enter the concert.
